My name is Holly and I'm a locavore foodie who loves to travel. When I visit a new place, I always make sure I get a chance to eat the food that the locals eat. It often ends up being dishes I've never heard of or combinations of ingredients I couldn't have imagined.

Foods that tell the story of where they're from are my favorites. But after years of living abroad, I'm now back in the US, living about 15 miles from where I was born. I want to remember the wonderful foods I've gotten to eat during my travels and explore new recipes from places I haven't yet had the chance to visit. That makes Kitchen Atlas both an exercise in nostalgia and in armchair traveling. Bon appétit!
